Nick O'Hern

Nick O'Hern ( born October 18, 1971 in Perth ) is a left-handed Australian professional golfer who played both the European Tour and the North American PGA TOUR.

Career

At the age of nine, he began to play golf. His father was a good amateur golfer and also played in the Australian baseball team. Nick inherited his athletic ability, played for Western Australia's baseball team, was also a talented tennis player, but ultimately chose for the game of golf and in 1994 was professional golfer.

O'Hern qualified on the Tour School for the European Tour's 1999 season and played there ever since, without tournament success, but with many top rankings - in 2004 alone he recorded eleven top 10 places. In the European winter, he takes on the PGA Tour of Australasia, where he was able to celebrate five victories.

In 2005, O'Hern also began on the PGA TOUR, where he first acted on its good world ranking rankings on invitation basis and from 2006 received the full entitlement because of his Presidents Cup membership.

Nick O'Hern is married to his wife Alana since 1993 and has two children. His two residences are located in his hometown of Perth and in Brighton, England.
