Nicky Bomba

Nicky Bomba (born Nicholas Caruana ) ( born September 7, 1963 in Malta ) is an Australian musician and was the drummer of John Butler Trio.

Life

Nicky Bomba long worked with bands from Africa and the Middle East and deepened his experience in Reggae, Ska and Mento. Bomba worked out an impressive reputation through his involved in several projects, including the 30pce Melbourne Ska Orchestra and played forward to John Butler Sunrise over Sea. He also played at Hey Gringo and toured with Banana Oil ( jazz), Bustamento ( Calypso / Mento ), The Truth ( band ) ( radio ) and his own band Bomba ( Reggae / Funk). The end of 2013 he joined the JBT again.

Nicky Bomba is the brother of John Butler's wife Daniella ( Mama Kin ), when brother Michael plays keyboards.
