Nico Sijmens
Nico Sijmens ( born April 1, 1978 in Diest ) is a Belgian racing cyclist.
Career
Nico Sijmens began his career in 2001 at the Belgian cycling team Vlaanderen- T Interim. In 2003, he celebrated his first success with two stage wins at the Tour of Austria. Then he moved to Landbouwkrediet - Colnago, where he could see the GP Pino Cerami decide for itself immediately. In the 2005 season he won the Hel van het Mergelland and later the Rothaus Regio - Tour including a stage. The UCI Europe Tour, he finished in tenth place thereby. The following year he won a stage of the Tour de la Région Wallonne.
