Nicola de la Haye

Nicola de la Haye (* 1150-1156, † 1230) was the eldest daughter and co-heiress of Richard de la Haye († 1169 ), a nobleman from Lincolnshire.

She was married in first marriage to William fitz Erneis and in second marriage with Gerard de Camville. She inherited the office of castellan of Lincoln Castle, which exercised their spouses usually in their place. At times, she was also responsible for the castle itself, notably in 1191 when Gerard with Prince John was in Nottingham and Nichola could hold the lock during a month-long siege.
