Nicolae Mitea

Nicolae Mitea ( born March 24, 1985 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian football player. He is since summer 2013 in CS Concordia Chiajna under contract.

Career

Mitea began his professional career in the 2002/03 season at Dinamo Bucharest, with whom he immediately became Romanian Cup Winners' Cup. The following year he moved to Ajax Amsterdam. Here he was able to contribute with seven goals in 23 games to win the Dutch league title in 2004. In the following years, however, he could form the basis of weaknesses and repeated minor injuries not prevail at Ajax and played no role in the plans of coach Henk ten Cate and later in those of his successors Adrie Koster and Marco van Basten also.

Nicolae Mitea signed then in 2008 a four-year contract with his former club Dinamo Bucharest, sparked this but already after one year on. He was then a year without a club before the Greek club Ionikos Nikea signed him, who played in the second-rate Football League. In summer 2011 he returned to Romania, where he hired at newly Petrolul Ploieşti. From January 2012 until the summer of 2013 he was out of contract again before him took first division side CS Concordia Chiajna under contract. He did not come in the first round 2013/14, however, are used.
