Nicolas Florentin

Nicolas Florentin ( born February 16, 1978 in Pont-à- Mousson ) is a former French footballer.

Career

Florentin began his professional career at AS Nancy where he stood from 1996 Executive of the Erstligamannschaft. However, on his debut, he had to wait until the 1997/98 season and completed it after Nancy's relegation to the second division. This remained his only use in one season, at the end he reached the second division championship and the associated resurgence with his team. Over the next year and a half excellence Florentin came out not two disputed games, so he was loaned out to third division club AS Beauvais in December 1999.

At Beauvais he first played hardly, however, then became regular first-team when the team had managed in 2000 promotion to the second division. In 2001 he returned to the now also second-rate Nancy and received there a regular place. This he forfeited when he moved to first division ES Troyes AC 2002. With Troyes Florentin rose in 2003 from 2005 and back on and never reached it a regular place.

Only when he after the rise of Troyes moved to SM Caen in 2005, he was back to the starting eleven. After he reaches the highest French league with Caen in 2007, he spent only two years of his career in which he was a regular player in the premier league. In the summer of 2009, he suffered two setbacks because Caen was the one relegated to the second division for the new season and he severely injured himself in the course of preparation. Florentin, who wanted to change anyway because coach Franck Dumas not put it on, never once ran more on Caen and signed in 2010 at Angers SCO. In view of only nine starts in two years, the contract was not renewed in 2012 and Florentin finished with 34 years of his active career in which he had 75 first-and second-division 165 games contested in France. Directly after his footballer career he was hired in July 2012 at his former club Nancy as a youth coach.
