Niechłód

Niechłód is a village in Poland in the Wielkopolska Region. The Schulz village is the oldest village of the municipality Swieciechowa. The village is part of the Camino in Poland.

Geography

The village is situated in the southwest of the community Swieciechowa Wielkopolska Region. Swieciechowa is located about seven kilometers to the east, Wschowa in a southwesterly direction at about the same distance.

History

As a property of the Benedictine monastery in Lubiń the place was first mentioned in 1158. 1570 was Jan Leszczynski, Wejher then powiat Radziejowski. 1778-1796 was Ewa Zbijewska, born Neżychowska owner Niechłóds. 1920 Józef Bojanowski was the registered owner and this would remain there until 1946. Niechłód 1807 became part of the newly established after the Peace of Tilsit, Duchy of Warsaw. After this was dissolved in 1815, the village was again part of Prussia. 1919, the site was then part of the revived Poland. During the Polish campaign, the place was in 1939 occupied by the German Wehrmacht. Since 1945, the place is again part of Poland.

1885 lived 494 people in the place, in 2010 there were 413

In the course of its history the place trugt the names Niechlod, Nechlod, Nyechlod, Niechlov, Niechłódź and German Nicheln.

Culture and sights

Interesting that a listed wooden Church of All Saints is 18th century. The square bell tower was 1967/68 restored. Inside is a Baroque altar with a Saints' Day, which also originated in the 18th century. On the church property continue is the tomb of the family Junosz - Bojanowski from the 1st half of the 19th century or 20th century, and a cemetery which was used from the 18th to the 20th century. Surrounded is the church property of a brick wall from the 19th century.

The second is a listed landmark Niechłóds is the courtyard. To her belongs the manor which was built in 1906-1908 by the architect Zygmunt Wilczewski for Maciej Siciński. In this rectangular neo-baroque building contains apartments as well as the seat of an agricultural enterprise. The park surrounding 3 -acre park was in 19-20. Century created.

Niechłód is the intersection of several roads. This lead to the northwest by Zbarzewo, in the north- east to Gołanice, to the east by Piotrowice and Swieciechowa, in the southeast by Długie Nowe, to the southwest by Dębowa Łęka and after Osowa Sień. South of the village, the main road runs 12

The nearest train station is located in the seven kilometers south-west to Wschowa.
