Nikola Hofmanova

Nikola " Niki " Hofmanova ( born February 3, 1991, Chomutov, Czechoslovakia) is an Austrian tennis player with Czech roots.

Life and career

Her family moved to Hornstein Burgenland. Since the age of three Hofmanova plays tennis. It applies Tamira Paszek next to the largest new hope in the Austrian tennis. She was trained between 2003 and 2010 by Jan Kukal. Currently, she coaches her father Martin Hofman. By mid-2008 Hofmanova denied mainly youth tournaments, since it denies primarily ladies tournaments in the lower prize category.

Her achievements on the Youth Tour are winning the Orange Bowl 2006 ( World Youth Championships ) and winning the ITF Bangkok Metropolitan 2007. On the women's tour, she won the $ 10,000 Futures tournament at UTC LaVille in Vienna in 2008 and reached the $ 25,000 Challenger Tournament in Karshi in Uzbekistan in the same year in the final. Hofmanovas 2009 was the most successful year on the ladies tour. She won the $ 50,000 Challenger in Fukuoka ( JPN) and stood at the $ 25,000 Turneiren in Nagano (JPN ) and Bukhara ( UZB ) 2009 in the final. She also took the 2009 title at the Austrian Indoor Championships in singles. 2010, the final of the $ 50,000 Challenger in Fukuoka ( JPN) was the biggest success of Burgenländerin.
