Nikolaos Deligiannis

Nicholas ( Nikolaos ) Deligiannis (Greek: Νικόλαος Δελιγιάννης ) (* 1844 or 1845, † 1910) was a Greek politician and Prime Minister.

Deligiannis came from one of the most distinguished families of Langadia ( Λαγκάδια Αρκαδίας ) in the Peloponnese. His father Peter Deligiannis was Foreign Minister during the reign of King Otto I. His uncle Theodoros Deligiannis was five times Prime Minister.

Deligiannis began a career in the diplomatic service. In 1870 he was chargé ( charge d'affaires ) in Paris. Subsequently, he was from 1880 to 1886 envoy in Belgrade. 1886 he was appointed ambassador in Paris.

From 24 January to 11 June 1895 he was Prime Minister of the transitional government.
