Nikolay Durakov

Nikolai Alexandrovich Durakow (Russian Николай Александрович Дураков; born October 5, 1934 in Krasnogorowka, Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a former Russian Bandyspieler. He is considered one of the most successful Bandyspieler all time and is a seven-time world champion.

Durakow played for SKA Sverdlovsk Yekaterinburg in today. For the club he graduated from 1954-1976 a total of 459 games in which he scored 588 goals. With Sverdlovsk, he won nine times in the Soviet Bandymeisterschaft at this time. He was seven more times runner-up, three times with his club of third parties.

For the Soviet national Durakow played 50 times, scoring 48 goals. 1957, 1963, 1965, 1967, 1969, 1971 and 1973, he was world champion. In 1965, he was top scorer in the World Championships.

In 1963 he was awarded the Honored Master of Sports of the USSR.
