Nikos Sarganis

Sarganis Nikolaos (Greek Νικόλαος Σαργκάνης, born January 15, 1954 in Rafina ) is a former Greek football player.

Nikolaos Sarganis, began his career at the Athens club Ilisiakos. After Sarganis initially acted as a defender, his coach Christos Rimpas put him on the position of the goalkeeper, after he had discovered his extraordinary talent. In 1978, Sarganis to FC Kastoria and stayed there for two years under contract. After Sarganis 1980 could win the Greek Cup with club Kastoria, the Greek players observers were aware of him quickly. So it was that he moved in 1980 to Olympiakos Piraeus, where he was in the next few years in addition to three championships (1981, 1982, 1983 ) once more to win the Cup (1981). In 1985 Sarganis to archrival Olympiakos Panathinaikos Athens.
