Nilmar

Nilmar Honorato da Silva called, Nilmar (born 14 July 1984 Bandeirentes ), is a Brazilian footballer. Since 2012 he plays for the Qatari club Al- Rayyan SC.

Career

At the age of nineteen, Nilmar was already a regular player of the Brazilian first division club SC Internacional. This caught the attention of several European clubs. Olympique Lyon, Manchester United and Sevilla FC wanted to commit the attacker. Olympique Lyon finally awarded the contract, and so moved Nilmar 2004 for € 5.75 million to France. In his first season Nilmar was a regular player. He scored two goals in 32 games. In the 2005/06 season Nilmar was awarded to São Paulo to the SC Corinthians Paulista. For € 1.5 million, the Brazilian club had to be transferred to the account of the French. After the season, the club Nilmar wanted to keep, especially as a substitute for West Ham United striker Carlos Tevez Argentine exchanged. The SC Corinthians Paulista and Olympique Lyon agreed on the transfer fee of € 10 million. Of the 10 million Brazilians, however, the only paid 2 million euros. A legal dispute between the Corinthians and Nilmar Nilmar should the view to clarify whether his contract was invalid because he wanted to switch to Europe again.

After many rumors and exchange a range of VfL Wolfsburg in the amount of 15 million euros in 2009 he moved to FC Villarreal. This paid 16.5 million euros to Nilmars old club SC Internacional.

The SC Internacional won by Olympique Lyon at the € 5.75 million or 20 % of the transfer fee of the resale proceeds.
