Nina Li (actress)

Nina Li Chi (Chinese利 智, Pinyin Li Zhi, born December 31, 1961 in Shanghai, China ) is a Chinese actress.

Her father was a well-known acting teacher in Shanghai. In 1981, she moved to Hong Kong and worked in a furniture store before they went to the U.S. to study. She received her degree in economics. In 1986, she was elected to Hong Kong for the Miss Asia and began to act. Within two years she was one of the highest paid actresses in Hong Kong. During her brief career, she has played with stars such as Jackie Chan, Chow Yun -Fat, Samuel Hui and Sammo Hung Kam -Bo. In 1992, she retired from acting. In 1999 she married actor Jet Li They have two children.
