Samuel Hui

Samuel Hui Koon -kit ( born September 4, 1948 in Hong Kong), better known as Sam Hui, is a Chinese singer and actor.

Life

He graduated from the Art School of the University of Hong Kong and the University of St. Francis Xavier in the late 1960s to the early 1970s. Together with his older brothers Michael Hui ( born September 3, 1942) and Ricky Hui ( 1946-2011 ), he played in the 1970s in popular film comedies. His siblings, Judy and Stanley, do not work with him and his brothers in showbiz.

He started his career as host of a young TV Show of the Hong Kong station TVB. At this time he sang as frontman for the band The Lotus. Sam sang a lot of songs with celebrities from Hong Kong, including Leslie Cheung. Beginning of the 80s he played with Karl Maka in the ACES GO PLACES series, in Germany known as Mad Mission.

In 1993, he gave a farewell concert and explained that he wanted to make films not even music, since he had come in a three almost lost his life. Sam came back, however. He starred with Nicholas Tse in the film Winner Takes All. Life as a " pensioner " bored him and he came back in 2004. All the concerts were sold out. In his first concerts he often reminded of Leslie Cheung and Anita Mui died in 2003.

He was on 19 and 20 February 2005, his sons and his brother Ricky a concert in Kuala Lumpur, however, he has not planned any further concerts.

He's (nee Flemming ) with Rebecca " Rebu " married. Together they have two sons: Ryan and Scott.
