Nine Days

Nine Days is an American rock band from New York, who stormed to the worldwide hit " Absolutely ( Story of a Girl ) " the charts. The song was from the soundtrack to the film American Pie Teen.

Band History

After the two talented songwriter John Hampson and Brian Desveaux had played in numerous other bands in New York, the two joined together to write songs. It took nine days in 1994 until the two had done some songs that they wanted to present in New York clubs. When the two play by bassist Nick Dimichino, drummer Vincent Tattanelli and keyboardist Jeremy Dean got to gain a little in the clubs, a variety of songs the band began to write, filled with the deeply felt emotions, personal triumphs and tragedies were. Together with melodic finesse met these songs exactly the spirit of the New York club scene. The very urgent and rapid recording of their first album " SOMETHING TO LISTEN TO " 1994 gave them to play in a popular New York City nightclub as a guest the pulse every Monday. A year later they recorded their second album, " MONDAY SONGS " on which stood ajar in the title of the Monday's shows. A major success was winning a regional talent competition as the best band. After Jeremy Dean is pushed back to the band, the band has added record a new album.
