Nine Emperor Gods Festival

The Vegetarian Festival is a religious festival in late September / early October (for example in Phuket) takes place every year at various locations in Thailand. The nine holidays always fall on the first nine days of the ninth month in the Chinese calendar. The festival is celebrated mostly by the ethnic Chinese population.
