Ningyuan County

Circle Ningyuan (Ch宁远县; Pinyin: Nīngyuǎn Xiàn ) is a circle, which is one in the south of China's Hunan Province to the administrative territory of the prefecture-level city of Yongzhou. It has an area of 2508 km ² and has 740,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Shunling舜 陵镇.

The Confucian Temple of Ningyuan ( Ningyuan Wenmiao宁远文 庙) and the site of the Temple Shun ( Shun di miao Yizhi舜帝 庙 遗址) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China.
