Nissim Zvili

Nissim Zvili, Hebrew נסים זווילי; ( Born January 31, 1942 in Tunisia) is an Israeli politician.

Life and career

Zvili was born in 1942 in Tunisia. In the 1950s, he came to Israel. He attended an Agricultural High School in Nahalat Yehuda. Later he attended the Bar - Ilan University, and the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

His political career began in the 1980s when he was elected general secretary of the Moshav Movement.

1992 Zvili was chosen for Avodah in the Knesset. In 1996, his re-election. Shortly after his arrival at the Parliament Zvili October 1992 was elected Secretary General of Avodah. This office he held until January 1998. 1999 he resigned from Avodah and was one of the founding members of Mifleget ha - Merkas. In the later held in Knesset elections he no longer went to.

From 2002 to 2005 Zvili served as Israeli ambassador in France.
