Nitroamine

The nitramines (also Nitramide ) are a class of substances of chemical compounds containing the functional group R.sup.1R.sup.2N - NO2. They are often used as explosives or insecticides. Is nitrated amines, which are obtainable by condensation reaction with nitric acid in part from the corresponding amines.

The simplest representative of the group of substances called nitramines is called nitramine.
