Noah Danby

Noah Danby ( born April 24, 1974 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian actor.

Biography

Noah Danby is the son of the painter Ken Danby. He initially enrolled at the University of Guelph, but then changed to the Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto, where he studied acting. He made his acting debut in the series Lexx - The Dark Zone (1999). It was followed by supporting roles in Detroit Rock City, The Skulls, Exit Wounds, as well as in the series Witchblade, Smallville and Relic Hunter - The Treasure Hunter. In 2004 he took a lead role in a film adaptation of the book of Mormon. The film was particularly in Utah and Idaho, where the Mormons have a great fan base, a great success. In the film, he played the prophet Nephi. Besides his work in the film business, he also acts as a stage actor, including in a stage version of Reservoir Dogs.

From 2004 to 2007 he had several guest appearances on Stargate - Kommando SG -1. He took a supporting role in the series Painkiller Jane. There he also met his wife Kristanna Loken know. The two married on 10 May 2008, but parted after a short time.
