Nocturno Culto

Nocturno Culto (born Ted Skjellum ) is a Norwegian musician. He is particularly known as a singer, guitarist and bassist for the metal band Darkthrone.

Biography

Skjellum came 1988 on the death metal band Darkthrone. In the autumn of 1988 was A New Dimension, the first recording with him. When the band in 1991 to Black Metal turned, he took the pseudonym " Nocturno Culto ".

In 1996 he worked with under the pseudonym " Kveldulv " at Satyricon, 1997, he left the Black Metal scene.

Nocturno Culto with Satyricon in 2004 came on at the Wacken Open Air and covered with the band a few songs by Darkthrone. In the winter of 2005, he worked alongside numerous other guest musicians such as Gaahl of Trelldom and Hoest of Taake album Secht on the project of the same name Vrangsinn ( Carpathian Forest ) and Dirge Rep ( Gehenna ) of which appeared in 2006.

Appeared in 2007 Nocturno Cultos movie The Misanthrope, to which he also composed the music; this ranges from electronics, Industrial and occasional Metal elements.

In 2008 he sang on Sarkes album Vorunah.
