Noel Bailie

Noel Bailie MBE ( born February 23, 1971) is a Northern Irish football player. From the season 1989/90, the defensive specialist standing by the Northern Irish first division club Linfield FC under contract. After the 2010/11 season, he finished his career as a professional football player.

Career

As a teenager came Bailie 1986 by the Hillsborough Boys ' Club in the junior section of Linfield FC. In the second half of the season 1988/89 he came to his debut in the men's area. At the age of 17 years at the time he came in the Cup final on 30 March 1989 to his first professional use. Since then he continually playing for Linfield. In the coming years, he won numerous titles for his hometown club and went on not only to the performers but also the captain of the team. In 1993 he held the first championship trophy of the IFA Premiership in their hands. At that time he played with David Jeffrey, who was his coach in 1997. To this day, were added a further eight championships and seven hits in the Irish Cup in Bailies collection of titles. In 1994 he was also elected as the Ulster Footballer of the Year.

On 24 April 2010, he completed his 1000th competitive match for Linfield.

In June 2013 he was awarded for his services to the Northern Ireland football by Queen Elizabeth II with the MBE.
