Noel M. Smith

Noel Mason Smith ( May 22nd, 1895 in California, † September 20, 1955 in Los Angeles ) was an American film director and screenwriter.

Life

Smith began his Hollywood career in 1912. He, alongside his work as a director and screenwriter also worked as an assistant director and second unit director.

In the 1920s, Smith resulted in a number of outdoor adventure films for animal stars like Rin Tin Tin, Klondike and Silverstreak Director, had the following decade by Warner Bros. and several Western turned to actor Dick Foran. From 1917 to 1926 he was married to actress Louise Fazenda; a second marriage he had with Adeline Louise Paulson.
