The Nokia Lumia 610 is a smartphone in the Lumia series of the Finnish manufacturer Nokia. This is the first Windows Phone device with lower hardware requirements and the goal with cheaper Windows Phone mobile phones to reach a different audience. First Windows Phone device, the Lumia 610 appears in a version with the NFC transmission standard.

Specifications

The Lumia 610, which is mainly aimed at beginners and a younger target group, such as students, is the third Nokia mobile phone with the operating system Windows Phone 7 from Microsoft. On the device, various social networking applications, as well as a Microsoft Office app preinstalled. The latter allows to edit documents in the mobile versions of Word, PowerPoint and Excel. The application is also integrated OneNote allows you to store notes and voice messages. The smartphone that is equipped with a 3.7 -inch touch screen, has a 800 MHz processor and a RAM of 256 MB, which is only half as large precipitates compared to the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710.

Introduction and sale

The Lumia 610 was unveiled in Barcelona on 27 February 2012, together with the model Nokia Lumia 900 at the Mobile World Congress 2012. On 24 May 2012, the sales start in Germany's trade was announced.
