Nonnensee

Nonnensee is a mansion in the city of Bergen auf Rügen, Pomerania district of Rügen, Mecklenburg -Western Pomerania lake. It is located northwest of the city of Bergen on Rügen and is a very shallow lake. This requires you tried in the years 1859/60 to drain the lake. The lake is part of the conservation area Nordrügensche Bodden and Nonnensee and serves many different bird species as a breeding place and protection, further as a recreation area for the nearby city. So leads a five-kilometer bike path around the lake, from the well to the foot of the rich variety of bird life can be observed.
