Nootamaa is an Estonian Baltic island. It represents the westernmost point of Estonia

Location and description

Nootamaa is located about one kilometer southwest of the island Loonalaid. The area of ​​the island is 5.8 acres.

Nootamaa belongs administratively to the municipality Lümanda in Saare County.

The uninhabited island is part of the National Park Vilsandi. Flora and fauna are protected. On the island there are 132 different species of plants. In addition, the island is known as a breeding colony of birds.
