Norbert Schlegel

Norbert Schlegel ( born March 9, 1961 in Hirschaid in the district Sassanfahrt ) is a former German football player and coach.

Career

Schlegel, initially active when ASV Sassanfahrt 1976 joined the youth team of the 1st FC Nuremberg and completed his professional training at Siemens. It is reported that at that time the DFB coach Dietrich Weise have called the young Upper Franconia as the greatest discovery of this vintage. When the citizens of Nuremberg, he was appointed the 1979/80 season in the First team, first in the Second Bundesliga, after having climbed in the First Bundesliga. In 1983, he joined the 1st FC Saarbrücken and was later in Berlin Hertha BSC and the SpVgg Fürth active.
