Salhusfjord

The Nordhordland Bridge (Norwegian: Nordhordlandsbrua ) is a free-floating pontoon bridge combined with a cable-stayed bridge. Opened in 1994, the bridge is located in Hordaland in western Norway.

The task of the bridge

The building spans the Salhusfjord and connects the municipality Salhus or Hordvik with the island Flatøy in Nordhordland and thus the underlying islands with the mainland ( and the city of Bergen ).
