Nordlys

Nordlys (Norwegian for Northern Lights and Polar Star) is a daily newspaper that is published in the northern Norwegian town Tromso. They reached a daily circulation of over 24,400 copies.

Nordlys is the largest newspaper in Northern Norway. They often provide a forum for the most important debates in the part of the country and designed as a regional newspaper for all of northern Norway. Mainly, however, the newspaper reports of events that take place in Tromsø or Troms.

Editor in chief Anders Opdahl. In addition to the editorial headquarters in Tromso Nordlys has offices in three other northern Norwegian varieties and works with other newspapers in the provinces of Nordland and Finnmark closely. The journal was founded on the island Karlsøy by Rev. Alfred Eriksen. Your first issue was published on 10 January 1902.
