Normalization (Czechoslovakia)

Normalization ( normalizace Czech, Slovak normalizácia ) the period is called after August 1968 in the history of Czechoslovakia. It is characterized as a restoration of the conditions that existed before the reform attempts of the Prague Spring of Alexander Dubček ( 1967/1968 ). From 1968 to 1991, Soviet troops were stationed on the Czechoslovak territory. The last Soviet troops left Czechoslovakia on 21 June 1991.
