North Providence is a city in Providence County, Rhode Iceland in the United States.

History

The first white men settled in 1636. 1765 founded the self- managed community North Providence, at that time also included areas that are now to Providence and Pawtucket. But only in 1974 the first time a Mayor was elected.

1921-1971 an area of ecological community was contaminated by industrial waste. Nevertheless, the area was built up with houses for pensioners and locked until 2000.
