North Twin Iceland (English for "North Twin Island" ) is an uninhabited island in the James Bay east of Akimiski Iceland.

The area of ​​the island is 157 km ².

The smaller neighboring island of South Twin Iceland is located about 10 km south-east. Together, the two islands of the Twin Islands. They belong to politically Qikiqtaaluk Region of the Canadian territory of Nunavut.

Fauna

North Twin Iceland is an important breeding area for Canada Geese and America Ringed Plover. On the island of willow ptarmigan and arctic terns are native.
