Novell Storage Services

The Novell Storage Services ( NSS) is a comprehensive file system package from Novell. They were introduced as part of NetWare version 5 in 1998.

Features are:

• Theoretically can support an infinite number of files per disk (volume)
• Volumes up to 8 terabytes
• File sizes up to 8 terabytes
• More than 1,000 volumes per server
• Mount / unmount within seconds (regardless of volume size )
