NoViolet Bulawayo (* 1981 in Tsholotsho, Matabeleland North Province ) is a Zimbabwean writer who lives in the USA.

Life

NoViolet Bulawayo born as Elizabeth Zandile Tshele in Zimbabwe and grew up there until age 18. Then she emigrated to her aunt in the United States. There she studied English and completed her studies with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts.
