Noyal-Muzillac

Noyal -Muzillac ( Breton: Noal - Muzilheg ) is a commune with 2506 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Morbihan in the Brittany region. It belongs to the community association Communauté de communes Arc Bretagne Sud.

Location

Noyal -Muzillac is located in the department of Morbihan, about six kilometers north of Muzillac. Neighboring municipalities are Muzillac, Le Guerno, Limerzel, Questembert, Berric, Lauzach and Ambon.

Demographics

In 2007, 52.2 % of the population were over 15 years to the group of employees. A further 6% of the population were farmers and 3.8 % belonged to the group of independent artisans, traders or entrepreneurs. In retirement were 23.2 % of the population.

Approx. 26% of the population were younger than 20 years, only about 16 % were 65 years or older.

Attractions

Noyal -Muzillac belongs to the 'Les Communes du patrimoine rural de Bretagne ' and has a large number of residential buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries. The church of Saint -Martin also dates from the 17th century.
