NSB Class 93

NSB type 93 is a diesel -powered two-car Norges Statsbaner to travel on Nordlandsbanen, Raumabanen and Rørosbanen. The trains were delivered by Strømmens Værksted and match the type Bombardier Talent. A total of 15 of these two-piece units were built.

The trains were built in 2001 and replaced trains with locomotives and wagons. The use of trains as Tagzug between Trondheim and Bodø, Norway 's longest railway line, had the advantage that the speed could be increased. Nevertheless, the use has been controversial because of the comfort of the railcar was lower than in the old trains. On 14 February 2007 the management board of NSB to return between Bodø and Trondheim at the old locomotive train sets out.
