Nuasjärvi

The Nuasjärvi is a lake in the Finnish countryside of Kainuu.

The 96.44 km ² lake is part of a chain of lakes extending from Ontojärvi to Oulujärvi. It lies at an altitude of 137.9 m. The outflow for Oulujärvi the river forms Kajaaninjoki. There lies the town Kajaani. The lake is divided into two main basins. The eastern part forms the actual Nuasjärvi, the western part of Rehja.
