Nuestra Señora de las Fuentes

The Cartuja de las Fuentes or Cartuja de Monegros is a former Carthusian monastery in the municipality Sariñena far from the border to the municipality in the comarca of Lanaja Monegros in the Spanish province of Huesca in Aragon.

The Charterhouse was founded in 1507 by the Counts of Sástago at the site of an ancient hermitage, but moved in 1563 to the Charterhouse Aula Dei in Zaragoza. The Carthusian populated but already in 1589 the branch again. In 2002, the former monastery was provided as Conjunto monumental ( Bien de Interès Cultural ) under protection.
