Numeralla River

BW

The Numeralla River is a river in the southeast of the Australian state of New South Wales.

The river rises in the Kybeyan Range in the west of Wadbilliga National Park. From there it flows north and then northwest to join in Dromore north of Cooma in the Murrumbidgee River.

The river is a diversified ecosystem with many species, such as the Wanderer's Kingfisher and the Kiora frog. The native freshwater fish, however, were entirely of introduced trout species, which are now being replaced by introduced carp species. This is a quite common situation in south-east Australia.
