Nurmo
Nurmo is a former municipality in the west of Finland. Along River Nurmenjoki in the landscape Southern Ostrobothnia. The entire population is Finnish-speaking.
The beginning of 2009 Nurmo was incorporated along with the neighboring village of Ylistaro in the city Seinäjoki.

Recreation and Sports
From Nurmo are numerous, internationally successful wrestler. The world-class javelin thrower Tero Pitkämäki part of the athletics club Nurmon Urheilijat at -99. The association Nurmon Jymy plays in the first volleyball league Finland, the pesäpallo players are also among the best in the country.
The golf course Ruuhikoski is an 18 -hole course of championship class.
