Nushagak Peninsula

Geographical location

The Nushagak Peninsula (English Nushagak Peninsula ) is located in southwestern Alaska and is part of the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge.

The Peninsula extends 56 km in the northern Bristol Bay and reaches a width of up to 24 km. To the east lies the Nushagak Bay, which opens at Dillingham of the Nushagak River. In the West, Kulukak Bay borders the peninsula, the southern tip is Cape Constantine. At the northern end is the settlement Manokotak, the peninsula itself is uninhabited.

The peninsula was named in 1910 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey based on the adjacent bay.
