NUTS of Estonia
As NUTS: EE or NUTS regions in Estonia Estonia is referred to the territorial division in accordance with the European Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS).
Basics
In Estonia, the three NUTS and two LAU levels are assigned as follows:
- NUTS -1: 1 - Estonia
- NUTS 2: 1 - Estonia
- NUTS -3: 5 Groups of Maakond ( Maakonnad Gruppideks, groups of circles )
- LAU -1: 15 Maakonnad ( counties / districts)
- LAU 2: 226 vallad, linnad ( rural and urban communities )
