NUTS of the Netherlands
As NUTS: NL or NUTS regions in the Netherlands are referred to the territorial division of the Netherlands under the European " Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS)".
Basics
In the Netherlands, the three NUTS levels are assigned as follows:
- NUTS -1: the 4 parts of the country ( landsdelen );
- NUTS -2: 12 Province ( Netherlands) ( provincies );
- NUTS -3: 40 regions ( COROP regio 's).
