Nuvoton Technology Corp.. (Chinese新 唐 科技 股份有限公司, Pinyin Xin táng Keji gǔfèn yǒuxiàn Gongsi ) is a Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer. The company is a spin-off from Winbond and was founded in 2008.

Business

The relevant product lines are integrated circuits for use in entertainment and technology in computers and industrial PCs.

Among other things, offers Nuvoton speech synthesis modules and microcontrollers based on the ARM architecture.

Best known here is the ARM Cortex- M Microcontrollers and ARM Cortex -M0 NuMicro family, which is specifically designed for use in industrial and consumer applications, which require low power consumption (eg sensor systems).

By 2010 keyboard controller also were produced. In addition, the company also produces energy management systems, which are used, among others, in various Chinese and Taiwanese electric cars.
