Nyayo National Stadium

The Nyayo National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Nairobi, Kenya. It is mainly used for football matches of the Kenyan league, the AFC Leopards completed there the majority of its home games. The stadium also has a gym, a 50 -meter swimming pool and playing fields for handball and volleyball.

2005 at the World Cup qualifier against Kenya Morocco least one person was trampled to death. The Fifa locked the Nyayo National Stadium then for two years for international football matches. In October 2010, it came in a league match against Gor Mahia AFC Leopards of a stampede in which several people were killed and at least 30 people were injured.
