Đoàn Việt Cường

Đoàn Việt Cường (born 13 June 1985) is a Vietnamese football players. Since 2009 is the defender when the Vietnamese Hoàng Anh Gia Lai club under contract.

Career

Association

Đoàn began his football career in 2003 with FC Dong Thap. With the club Đoàn achieved varying results. In 2006, the club earned the champion of the second division, but increased in 2007 again from the V-League in order to create the renewed rise in the following year. 2009 saw the defensive player to league rival Hoàng Anh Gia Lai. With these he reached number six in the league in his first year.

National

Since 2007 Đoàn is active in the Vietnamese national team and is part of the team at the Asia Cup 2007. In Group B, with the teams of the United Arab Emirates, Japan and Qatar, Đoàn came in the 1:4 defeat on July 16 2007 his only tournament use, as it coach Alfred Riedl einwechselte in the 74th minute for Lê Tấn Tài. Among his greatest successes with this part of the income of the ASEAN Football Championship 2008, a football tournament for all Southeast Asian national teams. In the final on 24 and 28 December Thailand was beaten by 2:1 and 1:1 and thus won for the first time since the introduction of the Cup in 1996, this title. 2010 Đoàn was called into the squad for the discharged from the Vietnam Football Federation VFF Cup 2010. Without victory, the team placed fourth place out of four teams. Shortly afterwards, in December of that year, appointed national coach Henrique Callisto the defender in the squad for the ASEAN Cup in 2010.
