Obizzo III d'Este, Marquis of Ferrara

Obizzo III. d' Este (* July 14, 1294, † March 20, 1352 ) from the family of Este was since 1335 Mr. Ferrara and Modena from 1336.

Obizzo was a son Aldobrandinos II d' Este († 1326). He married his first wife, from 1317 to Elisabeth of Saxe- Wittenberg, a daughter of Albert II of Saxe -Wittenberg, who died on March 3, 1341. His second wife he married on November 27, 1347 Lippa Ariosto, the daughter of Giacomo Ariosto, which, however, still died in the same year.
