OPK Oboronprom ( Russian: ОПК Оборонпром, English: Oboronprom United Industrial Corporation) is a Russian investment company.

History

The consortium was founded in 2002 to form a Russian counterweight to the European EADS. Especially on the world market for helicopters to the Franco- German Eurocopter compete with the merger of the Mil and Kamov.

Investments

The Oboronprom holds interests in helicopter manufacturers, construction companies and manufacturers of Mach Schin defense systems ( " JSC Defence systems" ).
