OCA-DLR Asteroid Survey

ODAS (short for OCA -DLR Asteroid Survey, which stands for OCA Observatoire de la Côte d' Azur and DLR for German Centre for Aerospace ) is the name for an asteroid search program that from 1996 to 1999 by the Observatoire de la Côte d' Azur was operated in cooperation with the Institute of Planetary Research, DLR. With the help of a north of Nice stationed 90 -cm Schmidt telescope (also including five near Earth objects ) and a comet were over 2,000 asteroids discovered.

After the ODAS - sky monitoring had to be stopped due to cuts in funding, the research was continued with UDAS (from 1999 ) and ADAS (from 2001).
