Ocean View Amusement Park

The Ocean View Amusement Park was an amusement park in Norfolk, Virginia. He was at the end of Granby Street at Ocean View Avenue. At this point, there is now the Ocean View Beach Park.

In this amusement park in 1977 found some filming take place for the film Rollercoaster. The roller coaster whose collapse has been shown in this film, Rocket was. On the last day on which the park was open to the public, the recordings for roller coaster were produced.

The wooden roller coaster Rocket was finally destroyed during the shooting of the TV movie The Death of Ocean View Park in 1979.
